Kopano DeskApp

From collaboration and sharing with Files or Web Meetings to the standard groupware tools; WebApp has a lot of great features to offer. Making the best use of these features would be even easier if it could be integrated with your day-to-day office applications. This is where DeskApp comes in.

DeskApp is designed to be the bridge between WebApp and the desktop. DeskApp adds features a web application in a browser can’t, such as being set as the default email client, integrate with the file system to send any file as an attachment. Or even with the operating system so you can send emails from any office application.

Inbox + webmeeting

Desktop integration for WebApp

DeskApp integrates with your desktop operating system. It can be set as your default email client, which means any other application can use it to send email messages, even with attachments.

DeskApp also integrates well with the file manager on your desktop (such as Explorer or Nautilus), allowing you attach a file to an email from any location, local or on the network. Just right click on the file you want to send and DeskApp automatically creates an email with the file attached to it!

Easy sign on

DeskApp makes life easier by providing a quick-start. When first used, DeskApp creates a user profile containing the WebApp server and corresponding credentials. Starting DeskApp will automatically perform a login. DeskApp also supports single sign on technologies like NTLM and Kerberos.

Available on all platforms

We build installation packages of DeskApp for all commonly used operating systems: Windows, Mac and (quite a few) Linux distributions. All on both 32 as well as 64 bit. This way you can enjoy a customized experience with DeskApp on your favorite platform.
