Kopano AD Extension provides the ability to manage Kopano objects directly from the native “Active Directory Users and Computers” MMC-based management utility, which most administrators are used to with managing objects in Active Directory. This minor update implements features that have been requested through our support to ease the administration of large user bases.

New in 1.1:

  • KC-670 – Administrators have now the possibility to define a default email domain through the registry. This comes in handy in case the email domain differs from the domain used for the AD.
  • KC-767 – Previous versions did not check if an email that has been assigned to a user did already exist. Since email address need to be unique such a mistake could lead to the original owner of the address not getting any new mails. This version will now check the existance before saving changes.

Bugs fixed in 1.1:

  • KC-717 – Kopano ADS did previously not set rooms and resources as shared stores, preventing resource booking to work properly.
