Release Notes

This release includes a complete rewrite of the files hierarchy code, resulting in many bug fixes and improvements. For example, this version introduces improved checks for subfolders and files in the hierarchy, it resolves issues where new folders would show up in the middle of the list rather than at the bottom, deleted folders are now no longer shown and the navigation bar has gotten some improvements.

In this release you will find more previously separately packaged plugins as part of the main webapp package (widgets, titlecounter, filepreviewer and desktop notifications). Configuration options previously found in separate configuration files are now part of WebApp's config.php. Furthermore, this release resolves issues in custom reminders and recurring reminders and WebApp now navigates to a shared calendar when it is opened.

In this release, DOMPurify is now enabled by default and several plugins (Developer, manual plugin) have now been made part of the default installable package. A regression that prevented DeskApp from opening EML files has been solved, as well as other bug fixes and improvements have been implemented.

This is a maintenance release of Groupware Core, resolving various bugs and issues reported by our customers and partners.

This release significantly improves the conversation view - released in version 4.0. It also comes with many bug fixes, improvements and a new look. If you haven’t tried it yet; first enable the feature in config.php, then enable it in your WebApp settings. This version also comes with a new version of DOMpurify, VCF files with multiple entries are now properly imported and support for OIDC has been improved.
