Kopano Releases February 2019 - Core

Important note about Kopano Groupware Core 8.7.0

Kopano Groupware Core 8.7.0 has been released some weeks ago. We have been receiving reports from some customers that they are experiencing ‘strange behavior’ when displaying emails (content partially displayed). Some reports have indicated that users have lost their WebApp settings which had to be restored from backup or recreated.

We believe the strange behavior is caused by a caching issue, but have not been able to resolve the problem completely. As a precaution and to prevent unwanted upgrades, the 8.7.0 final packages have been moved out of the ‘final’ repositories. Updating using the final repositories will provide the latest 8.6.9 release until the caching issue has been resolved and an 8.7.1 release has been made available. Manually upgrading Groupware Core 8.7.0 is possible by adjusting the URL to the repositories (replace final with 8.7).

WebApp 3.5.2

In February we released WebApp 3.5.2 In this released we improved Various Keyword Query Language (KQL), made sure the calendar month view can be printed an fixed various icon issues.
Furthermore, an issue has been resolved where deleting rules/mail filters created an ‘unnamed rule’, which could trigger a (harmless) notification in the agent logs upon receipt of an email. Note that existing unnamed rules should be cleaned up manually. Pressing and holding the delete key should no longer result in an error message.

Kopano Releases February 2019 - TinyMCE Editor

New HTML editor available: Minimal-TinyMCE

The current HTML editor suffers from formatting issues. One of the solutions to this problem is to replace it by an editor with a reduced set of features. The first version of Minimal-TinyMCE is now available. It removes the possibility to set font-size, font-family, indentation, text color and background. Default font-size and font-family can still be changed via WebApp settings. You can find the package inside the WebApp repositories
