Sustainability and IT
The “Bits and Trees” movement is thinking about this and asking itself the following questions: “What role does sustainability play for stable tech communities? What ecological opportunities are there in digital applications, for example for climate and resource protection? What types of digitisation stand in the way of these goals or are even counterproductive? How can the digital society be made democratic and just and at the same time be geared to preserving the foundations of our life on this planet in a peaceful way?”
