The association
As a non-profit association of child and youth welfare in Berlin, SEHstern e.V. has been working for children, young people and families since 1999 and accompanies them with the goal of being able to live independently and on their own responsibility.
We joined the Transparent Civil Society initiative back in 2012 and have thus committed ourselves to publishing relevant information about our organization.
SEHstern e.V. has been using Kopano Groupware since the end of 2017, the decisive factor for the change from the previous system was the secure on-site operation on its own local server. The features of Kopano Groupware and the look and feel of the Kopano WebApp came closest to MS Outlook.
The usage
We use the calendar very valuably for resource booking, e.g. for booking rooms at our office. In addition, we use the options to create internal distribution lists, create individual signatures and write personalized absence notes.
By using the WebApp, everyone has the option of receiving and sending their e-mails while on the road, which is an important work tool, especially in outpatient work.
