With this beta, we bring several enhancements. Most of these enhancements are related to kopano-mapi, which heavily benefits kopano-search and kopano-backup. We have made the backup tool more error-resilient, meaning when it encounters an error, it should continue the backup process.

Multi-server support

Config file parameters for multi-server support have been added, to make it even easier to switch or setup a Kopano multi-server environment. Malformed message-ID fix

If you are running Kopano Core 8.1.0 beta 1, we highly recommend you to install this update as the beta1 contains an issue where spooler component of Kopano Core generates malformed message-id headers. This can lead to email being delivered in a spam folder or refused by a spam filter. In some cases it can also lead to an email server being (temporarily) blacklisted. More details can be found in ticket KC-224 or to view the whole changelog, please head over to our documentation page.

Where do I get the packages?

The packages can be found in the repositories, the portal  (all require login) and on the download server you can find the nightly builds. If you have any feedback (which is very welcome!) on this release, please use the regular support channels or send an email to feedback[@]kopano.com.
